UNERWARTET is an analog live collective made up of five artists from the French techno scene: Darzack, DC11, Porteix, Shaney, and ZPKF. The group embraces the spirit of live jamming, performing entirely through improvisation while exploring a wide spectrum of electronic music styles.
From ambient and electro to driving techno, this quintet invites audiences on a rich and hypnotic sonic journey, shaped by the sounds of modular synthesizers and drum machines. Inspired by the Dutch project Stoor Live, UNERWARTET Live Project was founded in 2023 and premiered with a three-hour performance celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Rex Club.
The project’s mission is to create a unique musical experience at every performance. Through their deep musical connection and attentive listening, these five sound enthusiasts immerse audiences in a distinctive sonic universe where each set becomes an exclusive, unrepeatable experience.
